innoSmart is a European initiative to develop emerging and sustainable industries based on creativity by:
- Identifying creative new uses and applications for current technology
- Expanding the use of innovations and current technology to new sectors and industries
- Identifying applications that lead to a more efficient use of resources
innoSmart supports these three types of entrepreneurial project and encourages intersectoral and international collaboration.
innoSmart also promotes an exchange of ideas and structured political dialogue with equivalent bodies in other regions and experts who give advice on developing better policies and provide tools to promote clusters and entrepreneurship in support of emerging industries.
